PACKAGING

Icy Herbs makes use of styrofoam material for packaging. It helps to keep in the freshness and insures that nothing gets dry.

FOOD SAFETY

Icy Herbs are also very aware of the new move-ment internationally to-wards more natural products.

  • Herbs are harvested early in the morning and transported to the factory
  • At the factory it gets washed and hand sorted
  • It is then sent through a bath to be sterilized with “Ozone”
  • The washed and sterilized herbs are instantly frozen with Nitrogen (at -196°C)
  • After it is frozen, the herbs are naturally cut and separated from stems
  • It gets stored at - 25°C and packed at - 10°C
  • Product is packed in 250 ml / 2.5 liter / 1kg containers
